Description: Since the Franchise Baseball runs 12 months a year, and plays 4+ seasons in that time, the off-season is greatly condensed. That, in part, contributes to some confusion when owners try to figure out when things in the game occur. This calendar is a list of all the major events during the course of a Franchise Baseball season and when they occur. Many of the events key off of another event, not a particular day of the season (for example, the reset of the league, which occurs a couple of days after the end of the Galactic Series finishes). For this reason, a number of items in this calendar are relative to another event.

Please note that most items are listed in terms of Real Day (real life days) and also Game Day (the game number that the season is currently on).

New Leagues: When a new league starts, often times we wait a few days for the league to fill before playing games, this gives owners a chance to signup, and make some money before the games begin playing. New league always start in year 1950 (which can be viewed by clicking on News, League Info).
Prior to the season: The creation of the league schedule occurs the first time events are run (for a new league) or the first time after team records are zeroed out (for an existing league)
Real Day 1 (Game Day 1): Games begin playing. This is the first day that games are actually played.
Real Day 27 (Game Day 81): The previous seasons draft picks (option <Year> Draft Picks in "Draft" section) are cleared, so, you may no longer view them.
Real Day 36 (Game Day 108): Trade deadline. Check your "league info" screen, as this also varies, typically the default is 108.
Real Day 36 (Game Day 108): Free agent signing period ends. Check your league info screen, as this varies, typically the default is 108, however.
Real Day 54 (Game Day 162): After games are played on the 54th day, the playoffs are created with the teams that qualify following the 54th game.
Real Day 54 (Game Day 162): After the games on day 60, the rookies who intend to turn pro also announce their intentions, so, there is a list of players eligible for the draft in the draft section. It is at this point that you may start compiling your draft, "wish list". See Draft Help.
*** The end of the third round of the playoffs is when a champion has been determined. The day after the last game would be the (Champion Crowned + 1) day. This is because the playoffs may vary in length as series might end in 3, 4, 5 or more games.
Champion Crowned + 1 (The night after the champion is crowned): All Player statistics are zeroed, the players age a year, their potentials are changed, skills are increased/decreased, players retire. For subscribers, the stats from this season will be visible in the 'Historical' section of a player, but no longer in their normal stats.
Champion Crowned + 3 = League Reset: The amateur draft is carried out (Rookies join teams). Team season W-L records are zeroed out. The old schedule is removed.
*** This day (Champion Crowned + 3) is by default +3, but, depending on the league, could be any number. It could be 4, 5, 6 or more days after the Champion is Crowned. This is known as the League Reset.
League Reset + 1: New schedule is created. Owners are emailed a notice about the new schedule. Free Agents may also be signed and trades may now be completed.
*** After the league schedule is created, the game will wait as many nights as were waited before the league reset to play the first game, so, in this example, the league reset was + 2 days after the Champion was crowned, so, game will begin play this season on the third night after the schedule was created.
League Reset + 2: Free Agents may be signed and trades completed. No Games Played.
League Reset + 3: Free Agents may be signed and trades completed. No Games Played.
League Reset + 4: Free Agents may be signed and trades completed. No Games Played.

League Reset + 5: Day 1 of the next season.

Although there are not many leagues where the numbers differ from these, it is possible that your league has a slightly different setup.

For the above example, End of Third Round of the Playoffs = Champion Crowned and Champion Crowned + 3 = League Reset.

A couple of notes to mention, when you get an email that says games will start in 2 days, that means that on the third day, games will actually be played.
