Description: The Box Score provides owners with summary information for a specific game. Box score information is only kept for three days. If a team would like a record of past games beyond that, they will have to print or save the information on their local computer. In addition, one of the unique features of Franchise Baseball over the other Franchise sports games is the existence of a play by play for each game. The play by play file gives owners a detailed description of exactly what happened in the game, and even allows you to score games if you desire. The play by play file is also only kept for 3 days.

Viewing Box Scores: To view a box score for a particular game, you first need to go to either the Team Schedule & Scores or the Day Schedule & Scores screens in the News section. For each game that has been played, a pencil icon will be displayed to the left of the game result. Clicking on that icon will take you to the box score for that game. Games that are older than 3 days old will not have a box score available for viewing due to size restrictions.
Viewing the Play By Play: To view the play by play of a game, it will cost you a small sum, and is only available to subscribed users of Franchise Baseball. The play by play file will open in its own window and will display batter by batter the results of the game. The play by play file also includes scoring information such as the putout and assist information. All substitution information is also included.
Line Score: The line score is the inning by inning breakdown of scoring at the top of the page. Please note that only the first 20 innings will be shown for games that last longer than 20 innings. The play by play file will have the full breakdown of the game.
Box Score: The box score itself holds player statistics that can give a team valuable insight. Many of the statistics displayed are self explanatory and are commonly found in professional baseball box scores. In addition, many of the stats may also be obtained in the clubhouse. So, explaining each statistic is beyond the scope of this document.
