Description: This is the catch all section for current settings and historical data that pertain to the league. No changes may be made in League Info, it is for viewing only.
There are several sub-categories in the League Info section. You may switch which topic you are viewing by selecting it from the drop down list and clicking on Go.
The different topics in League Info are:
League Info: This page displays a number of the settings for the league. Any number of these things may vary from league to league. The following are the items listed on the League Info page and a brief description:
- League Number: The number of this league.
- League Name: Each league has the ability to be named something specific, like, Boston League Baseball or Company League Baseball. This field tells you what the name of your league is.
- Current League Year: The year (season) that this league is currently in.
- Maximum Roster Slots: The maximum number of players that you can have on your roster.
- Minimum Pitchers: The minimum number of pitchers that your major league roster may have. This only applies to the major league roster, not to the minors. Minor league players also do not count for this number (neither do players on the DL).
- Minimum Position Players: This is the minimum number of position players that you may have on your roster at any given time. Similar to the minimum number of pitchers, it does not include minor leaguers or players on the DL.
- Maximum Players Allowed On DL: The maximum number of players allowed on the Disabled List (combined 15 and 60 day).
- Maximum Players allowed in Minor Leagues: This is the maximum number of players that you can have in your minor league system at any time.
- Number of times a player may be demoted to the minors: Each player may only be demoted to the minors this many times during their tenure with your team.
- Maximum Negotiations with a player (per day): The number of times you may offer a player a contract per day (only applies to players on your team).
- Maximum Trains per Player/Day: The number of times you can train each player each day (this does not include minor league players they cannot be trained using the normal training methods).
- Days For Player to Clear Waivers: The number of days a player has to stay on the Free agent list before he may be signed (also applies to trainers and managers)
- Free Agent Sign Deadline Day (Current Day): The last day that free agents may be signed. The current day is what the next day will be in this league.
- Trade Deadline Day (Current Day): The last day that trades may be proposed and accepted. The current day is what the next day will be in this league.
- Salary Cap: The total salary which a team may have before incurring penalties, including a tax equal to the excess per game day.
- Exceed Cap with FA Signing: The percentage which a team may exceed the cap in order to sign free agents, make trades, etc. The team will still incur monetary penalties if over the cap at the time of games.
- Home Share of Ticket Sales: The percentage of revenue the home team will get from sale of tickets.
- Away Share of Ticket Sales: The percentage of revenue the away team will get from sale of tickets.
- League Share of Ticket Sales: The percentage of revenue from sale of tickets that will go into the league shared revenue. (please note that often these three shares do NOT add up to 1 this is because there is an administrative cost which covers the stadium operations).
- Regular Season Games: The number of regular season games.
- Playoff Series Length (Best Of): The length of the playoff series' in this league. This is a best of number.
- Number of games played per regular season day: The number of games played each night during the regular season.
- League DH's: These two items tell you if the named league has a DH or not.
Former Champions:The Former Champions screen lists the champions from each season, the series score and their opponent. Regular season records of both teams are also included.
League Records: The League Records section lists all-time records for the league in various categories. Currently there are no categories tracked in Franchise Baseball
Player Awards: There are currently no player awards handed out during the season.
